We went to the spanish steps on our fisrt day in Rome. It was a little cold but the nearby shopping was a lot of fun.

Anne on top of the dome of St Peter's

We walked up 388 steps to the top of St Peter's. There was a great view out across the city. Anne made it to the top with Alex, Nick and Robert. We were quite exhausted but the climb was worthwhile.

Trevi Fountain Rome

Anne, Alex and Robert at the Trevi Fountain Rome. We all tossed in coins for good luck after a great pasta lunch in a very Roman caffeteria.
